Scott K. Thompson serves as Founder & CEO of DuraBante LLC, bringing more than two decades of executive leadership experience across Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and international organizations. A recognized transformation leader and change agent, Scott has led large-scale business improvement initiatives, enterprise procedure management programs, and strategic planning efforts for organizations such as GE, Constellation Energy, NRG Energy, Portland General Electric, and the Tennessee Valley Authority.

With a background spanning C-level roles, board leadership, and 22 years of military service culminating as a Field Grade Officer in the U.S. Army, Scott is known for his ability to drive clarity in complex environments, mentor high-performing teams, and deliver measurable operational and financial results. He founded DuraBante in 2008 and has since guided the firm’s growth as a trusted partner to regulated, mission-critical, and high-stakes organizations across the U.S. and Canada. Scott holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Business Administration from Castleton State University.
