What Is Power Plant 101?

Power Plant 101 is a 72-hour, in-person training program. It’s designed to help participants develop a basic understanding of power plant safety, components, and systems. Through this program, participants learn the safety requirements of the job, common vocabulary of the industry, and what it takes to maintain and operate a power plant, among other important topics.

How Does It Work?

Power Plant 101 is currently held in conjunction with Idaho State University (ISU), and the courses run in-person on their campus. These courses are held over 10 days and can accommodate up to 15 participants per class. You can find our list of upcoming course offerings below.
