DuraBante served as a critical sub-contractor within the highly visible National Capital Region that provided support to the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Benefits Administration/Department of Defense (DoD) Program Office in the development, design, and implementation of a new program (Veterans Opportunity to Work Act/Veterans Employment Initiative, known as VOW/VEI) to support the transition needs of Servicemembers from the DoD to the VA. As part of the VEI Program Management, Training, and Implementation contract, DuraBante’s assistance in implementation included Senior Leader training, content refinement, coaching, and counselling for active Servicemembers, Veterans, and their family members.
